Part one of my The Photograph He Carries series. Each is based on the photograph held most dear by a character in Out Of The Vortex: The Final Battle.

This is Mycroft’s. The picture is of him and Gabrielle (Cross-dressing Lestrade for those not in the know) a few months after they’d met. He’s carried it for almost twenty years, just like the flame of love he never let burn out.
